Pedro Clerot has signed with Rodin Motorsport to move into FIA Formula 3 in 2026.
The Brazilian driver is currently fourth in the Formula Regional European Championship, and already revealed back in August that he would be stepping up to F3 for next season.
Clerot was the inaugural Brazilian Formula 4 champion in 2022, having finished second in the domestic Formula Delta series the previous season.
After two outings in Italian F4 during 2022 with AKM Motorsport, he made a full-time switch to Europe the following year, driving for MP Motorsport in Spanish F4, where he won the first two races of the season and came second in the third – only to not finish on the podium again all year, and end the campaign sixth in the points.
He moved up to FRegional in 2024, finishing eighth in the European standings and taking two podiums in his rookie season with Van Amersfoort Racing.
Staying with the Dutch team this season, he has taken two wins and only just fell out of title contention after last weekend’s penultimate round, which he ended 51 points adrift of the lead.
“I’m very happy to join Rodin for my first year in FIA F3 for my rookie season,” said Clerot.
“Working with the team will be very special. I followed their 2025 season quite closely and strongly believe that together, with the team, we can achieve great things working together. I’m very grateful to Rodin for the trust and commitment in signing the deal. I can’t wait to get started!”
Clerot completes an all-new driver trio for Rodin’s F3 team in 2026, joining sophomore drivers Brando Badoer and Christian Ho.
“Pedro is a driver we have followed closely, his performances have marked him out as a real prospect for the future,” sporting director Benn Huntingford said.
“FIA Formula 3 is a demanding step but we are confident that Pedro will continue to grow and show his true potential.”
