Polish racer Maciej Gladysz will step up to the FIA Formula 3 Championship next year with ART Grand Prix.

The 17-year-old has little under two years of single-seater experience under his belt to date, and will be moving one rung up the ladder after racing in Formula Regional-based championships through 2025.

Gladysz became a member of the Sauber Formula 1 team’s karting offshoot in 2021 after starring on mini karts, and that year he won the FIA Karting Academy Trophy. In 2022 he won Champions of the Future’s winter series, was WSK Euro Series runner-up and fourth in the CIK-FIA World Championship on OK Junior karts, then stepped up to the senior OK class in 2023.

His transition to single-seaters last year came with MP Motorsport, who ran him in the Formula Winter Series and Spanish Formula 4. Gladysz came third in both, with three podiums in his first ever car racing campaign and then going on to claim three victories and five other podiums in his main programme.

He remained with MP this year as he stepped up to Eurocup-3, and has continued to taste success. In the winter series he won the title with two victories and three other podiums from eight races, and in the main championship currently sits ninth in the points with one race win. With one round to go he remains in contention to make the top five in the standings.

“Stepping up into the FIA F3 Championship with the ART Grand Prix team is a dream come true,” said Gladysz.

“I’m very grateful for this opportunity and proud to make my F3 debut with such a successful squad. I immediately felt at home in the team and can’t wait to start this new chapter of my career. I’ve learned a lot in 2025 and shown that I have the speed to make that next step for 2026.

“I always aim high and I’m ready to continue working hard and keep improving as a driver. I would also like to thank all our partners who made this step possible and all the amazing fans who supported me along the way.”
