Slovakia Ring, Race 2

ADAC Formel Masters’ visit to Slovakia wound up producing an absolute thriller, featuring clean fights all over the field and almost NASCAR-esque levels of close racing. The overtake-friendly nature of the track helped, but the class of those fighting at the front should not be underestimated – they were all pushing their cars to the limit and yet managed to produce extremely mature, collected drives.

Some races stay in your mind for a day. Certain rare ones are vividly remembered for weeks. But Formel Masters’ supremely impressive 15-minute sprint to victory could be a landmark that sticks around for a lot longer. For that reason, the second race of the Slovakia Ring weekend in ADAC Formel Masters is our race of the year.
