Nicolas Stati will make his GB3 debut at Silverstone next month with Chris Dittmann Racing.

The 16-year-old Australian has spent 2025 so far racing in the Formula Regional category. He came 15th in FR Oceania and is currently sixth in FRegional Americas, with third at the Indianapolis road course his best result.

After spending a number of years karting in his homeland, Stati took a race victory as a single-seater rookie in F4 South East Asia in 2023.

He remained in F4 last year, scoring eight podiums and finishing runner-up to Jimmy Pisczyk in F4 Australia, and also contested the United Arab Emirates championship and Middle East Trophy.

“I’m looking forward to driving with Chris Dittmann Racing and competing at the world-famous Silverstone for the first time,” said Stati.

“The GB3 Championship will be a new experience, and it will be tricky jumping in mid-season when everyone else has plenty of time in the car, but I can’t wait to get started and see what we can achieve.”

Stati is the third driver to confirm his European racing bow at the next GB3 round, joining Rodrigo and Patricio Gonzalez, with Rodrigo also racing for CDR.

“We’re excited to welcome Nicolas to the team and to European racing,” said CDR team principal Chris Dittmann. “He’s already shown great potential in multiple F4 and Formula Regional championships around the world, and this is a fantastic opportunity for him to continue developing in one of the most competitive junior single-seater series.

“We’re looking forward to supporting his first steps in the GB3 Championship and helping him maximise his performance at Silverstone.”
