Ex-Formula 1 driver Roberto Merhi and World Series Formula V8 3.5 race-winner Roy Nissany will fill the remaining seats in the 2018 Formula 2 field for this week’s test at Paul Ricard.

Merhi will test for MP Motorsport alongside Ralph Boschung, who was confirmed on Monday in a race seat with the Dutch outfit.

Spaniard Merhi partnered Boschung when he made his F2 debut in a one-off with Campos Racing at Barcelona last May.

He went on to drive for Rapax in three of the final four rounds, scoring points in three of the six races.

After three years in the now-defunct V8 3.5 series, winning four races, Nissany will be making his F2 test debut for?Campos alongside the already-confirmed Luca Ghiotto.

The only other seats without drivers confirmed in them for this season are both drives at DAMS. Nicholas Latifi and Alex Albon are expected to race for the team, although Latifi will be replaced by Oliver Rowland and Dan Ticktum in this week’s test while he recovers from illness.
