DAMS team leader Kevin Magnussen was the quickest man on-track in the morning practice session at Moscow Raceway, while it was Red Bull Junior Antonio Felix da Costa who was quickest in the afternoon.

It was Norman Nato who took second in both runs, displaying the good form of the DAMS squad that comes back to Moscow Raceway after winning a race here last year with Arthur Pic. The constitution of the top three was the same in both sessions, with Felix da Costa taking third and Magnussen rounding it out in the afternoon.

In session one, Stoffel Vandoorne took fourth, ahead of local driver Mikhail Aleshin and Zoel Amberg. Andre Negrao beat Marco Sorensen to seventh, with Nigel Melker and Jazeman Jaafar rounding out the top ten.

In session two, Marlon Stockinger took fourth for Lotus, beating out Will Stevens and Melker. Russian driver Sergey Sirotkin was in seventh, with Oliver Webb in eighth ahead of Sorensen and Pic.
