Jordan Lloyd was fastest in the fourth Australian F4 qualifying of the season at?Sandown as main rival Thomas Randle hit trouble and only went?ninth quickest.
Lloyd, who is leading the championship with six victories out of nine races, ended the session one tenth ahead of Luis Leeds, who secured his best qualifying result in second.
Row two will be filled by Jimmy Vernon and Zane Goddard, the duo being separated by 0.0014s and just three hundredths ahead of Jordan Love.
Will Brown took sixth, followed by Tom Grech, Harry Hayek, Randle – who was seven tenths off Lloyd’s pace – and Francesco Maiolo.
The field was completed by series debutant Caitlin Wood with Nick Rowe, currently third in the standings, and Drew Ridge not taking part in this round.
