Exclusive Autosport will run touring car racer and social media personality Lindsay Brewer through the remainder of the Indy Pro 2000 season.
Brewer, 24, has been testing in a IP2000 car since last year. Most of her mileage was with Jay Howard Driver Development, and she also has experience in Formula 4 machinery.
After karting as a youngster, Brewer moved into car racing in 2015 in the United States’ national Legends championship, before stopping motorsport to go to university. She returned to action in sportscars, then joined Skip Barber Racing School.
With the school she contested its single-seater series and finished sixth in the 2021 standings, and raced in TC America in a Honda Civic and was 14th in a part-time campaign. Recently she also did W Series’ F4 test in the USA.
“I’ve been testing in Indy Pro since last summer and thrilled to finally get on the grid and make my way through the Road to Indy,” said Brewer.
“I’ve worked really hard in the gym with my fitness regimen and have the same commitment to learn as much as I can on the racetrack this season.”
Brewer’s late signing means she missed the St. Petersburg season opener for IP2000, but will contest all 16 of the remaining races starting with round two at Barber Motorsports Park on April 30-May 1.
Exclusive made the podium in both races of the first round with Louis Foster, and also ran Matt Round-Garrido. Christian Brooks is also part of the team’s line-up, but he failed to make the start of the races in St. Petersburg.
