Carlin’s Jordan King emerged victorious in the reverse-grid race of the British F3 round at Spa-Francorchamps, successfully fending off a charging Will Buller in the closing stages of the race.

Fortec driver Buller ultimately had the pace on King in the final laps, but found himself unable to close the gap quickly enough to mount a proper challenge.

While National class driver Chris Vlok had reverse-grid pole, it was Antonio Giovinazzi – the top International class driver – who claimed the lead right off the bat. However, the Italian ultimately lacked the pace to fight for the win and found himself overtaken by pacesetters King and Buller midway through the race, settling into third place.

Tatiana Calderon had a strong outing to finish fourth, while Sean Gelael managed to keep Carlin’s Jann Mardenborough at bay for fifth place. Felipe Guimaraes, having struggled for pace in a car has previously retired from race one, had to settle for seventh.

Sun Zheng had to fight his way to the class lead after a poor start, but ultimately prevailed, beating out Jordan Oon and Chris Vlok.

Nicholas Latifi was unable to participate in the race, his car not prepared in time after a crash with teammate Mardenborough in race one.
