Narain Karthikeyan continued to be unbeatable since his switch to Super Nova International, as he took his third Auto GP pole in a row at Nurburgring.

The session was a complete triumph for the Norfolk-based squad, as Karthikeyan’s teammate, Vittorio Ghirelli finished second, only two tenths off the winner’s pace.

Ghirelli will prepare for a race, which could be decisive in his title hopes, as his two biggest rivals, Sergio Campana and Kimiya Sato were beaten by two part-time drivers, Kevin Giovesi and Kiss Pal Tamas, as the duo locked out the second row of the grid. Campana and Sato themselves qualified on row three, in fifth and sixth respectively.

Manor MP’s Meindert van Buuren finished seventh, with GP3 race winner Robert Visoiu eighth, as GP2 regular Daniel De Jong and Italian Andrea Roda completed the top ten.
