Jenzer finalises GP3 trio of Niederhauser, Fontana, Gomez

Jenzer Motorsport will run?Patric Niederhauser, Alex Fontana and Samin Gomez in this year’s GP3 Series, it has been confirmed.

After the team announced in January that Niederhauser will return after finishing seventh in 2012, Fontana’s place in the team was confirmed as he was revelead as a member of the Lotus F1 Junior Team.

The team has also announced the long-expected news that Gomez will graduate to the championship with them, having turned out for the squad at Valencia’s mid-season test last June and then again in post-season testing at Jerez and Estoril. Last year she finished seventh in Formula Abarth with Jenzer, scoring two podiums in her second campaign in the series.

Jenzer have become the third team, after MW Arden and newcomers Koiranen, to have their line-up of three drivers confirmed ahead of next week’s first pre-season test with the new GP3/13 car at Estoril. ART, Carlin and Trident have all revealed the identity of two of their drivers and Status one, while Marussia Manor and Atech are still to name any.
