Jaden Pariat has signed with Argenti Motorport for his first full season in British Formula 4.
The Indian – whose father was a rally driver – debuted in the championship last year with Chris Dittmann Racing, contesting the final two rounds and getting a best finish of seventh place. He also drove for the team in post-season testing.
He has been a star of India’s X30 karting scene at a national level, and has since progressed into his nation’s entry-level single-seater series in addition to testing old MRF Challenge cars to learn more about winged cars with downforce.
“After driving in the British F4 championship for the last two rounds of the 2022 season, it only made sense for us to come back,” said the 16-year-old.
“The amount I learnt on and off track during those two rounds of the championship was really incredible. Looking at the level of teams and drivers on the grid and the technicality of the circuits in the calendar makes for one of the best driver development and experience-gaining championships in the world.
“We chose Argenti because of the seasons they have had over the last few years, bagging nine wins and multiple podiums in the championship. Michael [Meadows]’ vision to support and develop drivers in their first steps into single seaters was also very fitting to our needs. I am super excited for the upcoming season and looking forward to the best we can achieve together with the team.”
Pariat is Argenti’s third signing, and will be team-mate to New South Wales Formula Ford graduate Patrick Heuzenroeder and fellow 2022 British F4 part-timer Isaac Barashi.
