Rodin Motorsport has completed its 2025 GB3 line-up with the signing of Australian racer Gianmarco Pradel.

He will be team-mate to compatriot Alex Ninovic and F1 Academy champion Abbi Pulling, with teams limited to three drivers as GB3 introduces a new car.

Pradel graduates to the Formula Regional-level championship from Formula 4, where he has been racing since 2022.

“I’m super excited for this new opportunity with Rodin Motorsport. It’s a big step in my career, and it will be amazing to drive for a team that has been so successful in this category,” said Pradel. “I look forward to racing on some challenging circuits in the new GB3 car, and I am ready to give everything to make the season successful.”

Rodin’s GB3 team manager Ricky Taylor added: “I’m so pleased to welcome Gianmarco to the team for the season. His performance has been strong over the last season and even during testing with us has shown great potential, making him a valuable addition to our team. We are confident that his talent and hard work will contribute to our success in the upcoming season.”

Pradel made it to the Ferrari Driver Academy’s Scouting World Final that year after racing and winning in an F4 car in a state-level championship in his home country, and also made a Spanish F4 cameo.

Shortly after he signed with US Racing, testing with the team through the rest of the year and racing for them after that.

His first campaign was the 2023 Formula Winter Series, where he was championship runner-up after taking six podiums from eight races. He then came 13th in Italian F4 and Euro 4, with one podium in the former and two eighth places being his best results in the latter.

The FWinter Series attracted a bigger field this year, and Pradel was fourth in the standings with three podiums. There were improved championship positions in his other campaigns though, as he came seventh in Italian F4 with one win and two other podiums while in Euro 4 a singular podium put him 10th in the points table.
