British Formula 4 runner-up Alex Ninovic will remain with Rodin Motorsport for the step up to GB3 in 2025.
The 17-year-old scored four poles, five wins and 13 other podiums in British F4 this year en route to second in the standings. Last year he raced for the team in Spanish F4 and came 10th with one podium, and he also contested one round of the 2024 season.
Prior to single-seaters, the Australian was national karting champion in his homeland in 2022 on KA3 Senior karts, and was the KA4 Junior champion the year before.
“I am so pleased to be continuing the journey into 2025 with the awesome guys and girls that make up the Rodin Motorsport team,” said Ninovic. “2025 will bring on a new challenge which is GB3 but I know that as a team we can achieve anything. As I always say: effort equals results.”
He will be joined by this year’s F1 Academy champion who will receive a fully-funded GB3 drive with Rodin as their prize.
“We are incredibly excited to see Alex continue his racing journey with Rodin Motorsport’s GB3 team,” said Rodin’s team manager Ricky Taylor. “He’s well regarded by the team from the past couple of seasons with us and has always been a driver who adapts well to a new car.
“This has been evidenced through his testing programme with us so far. I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do with the new car in the new year. Watching him race last year in particular in the British F4 Championship was fantastic – his race craft was really strong and I have absolutely no doubt he’ll be at the front end of the grid again this year.”
