Formula 4 star Hugh Barter is the latest driver to join the All Road Management company, and is set to step up to FIA Formula 3.
All Road is responsible for the Richard Mile Young Talent Academy shootout that rewards the winner with a paid-for F4 drive, and which the Australian-Japanese driver won in 2020 to kickstart his car racing career.
The management stable has also guided the careers of the likes of Daniil Kvyat, Charles Leclerc, Felipe Massa, who all reached Formula 1, and several current junior single-seater stars including fellow F3 driver Caio Collet.
Former Alpine Academy director Mia Sharizman is now responsible for the junior single-seater talents on All Road’s roster.
Barter raced in French F4 thanks to his Richard Mille backing, and won twice en route to the championship runner-up spot. He stayed in the series for 2022, and was once again runner-up with 10 wins and seven poles.
However his four wins at Spa-Francorchamps and Valencia did not count for points due to having already raced at those tracks in a parallel Spanish F4 campaign with Campos Racing where he won six races and was also championship runner-up.
In September he also did two days of FIA F3’s post-season test at Jerez with Campos, and was third fastest in the final session.
Later that year it is understood he also joined All Road, with the firm already listed on Barter’s website as his management, although it was not announced until now.
On All Road’s website, Barter is listed as racing in F3 for 2023. In its announcement of Barter’s arrival it said that “his plans for the 2023 season will be announced shortly”.
