A continuation of the appalling conditions that affected the second Formula Masters China race at Zhuhai on Saturday have led race three on Sunday morning to be postponed to later in the year.

Almost all the sessions of the weekend, including the test sessions prior to Friday practice, with the exception of race one were affected by rain. Earlier in the weekend, on Friday, the second qualifying session had been cancelled.

The grid positions for race three, which were decided on the basis of free practice times?due to cancellation of the second qualifying session, will stay. Matthew Swanepoel will therefore, start on pole ahead of James Munro and Dan Wells in a KCMG 1-2-3. The new date has not been fixed yet, but it is expected to be included in FMCS’s second visit to Zhuhai this year, in September.

Munro leads the standings with 33 points, ahead of?Yuja Motojima?on 25, and teammate Wells on 16.
