Mucke driver Maximilian Gunther has picked up double pole in ADAC Formel Masters for the third time in a row, topping qualifying at Lausitzring ahead of his teammate Alessio Picariello.
The championship leader looked like the man to beat early on in the session, but eventually, his German teammate took over the top spot, allowing his qualifying streak to continue.
Neuhauser driver Marvin Dienst took third, qualifying on row two alongside another Mucke driver – Hendrik Grapp. Schiller Motorsport’s Jason Kremer found himself demoted to fifth in the latter stages of the session, with fellow race-winner Nicolas Beer taking sixth. Mikkel Jensen and Ralph Boschung will make up the fourth row, while Beitske Visser and Fabian Schiller rounded out the top ten.
The top four rows remain the same based on second-best laps.
