Emmo Fittipaldi will remain with MP Motorsport in Eurocup-3 for a second season, with the aim of winning the title.

The youngest son of two-time Formula 1 and IndyCar champion Emerson Fittipaldi first joined MP for FIA Formula 3 tests at the end of 2023 at Jerez and Barcelona, then signed with the team but for Formula Regional-level championships.

He began 2024 in FRegional Middle East, and came 20th in the standings with just five points. His rookie campaign in Eurocup-3, where he had taken a two point from contesting two rounds the year prior, was far better and culminated at Barcelona with victory, pole and fastest lap in the season’s penultimate race then second in the finale to come fifth in the standings.

“I am extremely happy to continue my journey in the Eurocup-3 with MP Motorsport in 2025,” said the 17-year-old Brazilian.

“Last season we were able to improve constantly, so that we ended up in a winning position by the end of the season, culminating in victory in Barcelona. I am happy to take that momentum into the new season. MP finished top of the team standings in 2024 and everything indicates that this year will be no different. Together with my team-mates, I will fight for as many victories as possible and hopefully bring the team another title.”

Fittipaldi completes a six-car line-up for MP, and will be team-mate to Spanish Formula 4 champion Mattia Colnaghi and his 2024 rival rival Maciej Gladysz, Formula Winter Series runner-up Andres Cardenas, Asian Le Mans Series title contender Valerio Rinicella and Eurocup-3 race-winner Alexander Abkhazava.

“We are very happy that Emmo has decided to stay on for a second term in the Eurocup-3,” MP’s team principal Sander Dorsman commented.

“Of the drivers who remain in the class, he finished highest, so he starts the season with the strongest possible credentials. Last year we finished first, third and fifth in the final standings – we are well aware that it will be difficult to repeat that feat. But with Emmo, Valerio and Alexander as second-year drivers and with Maciej, Mattia and Andres as three fast rookies from Spanish F4, we are sure that we have the talent to go for it!”
