Maciej Gladysz will move on up to Eurocup-3 with MP Motorsport for his second year in single-seater racing.

The Polish driver was a highly rated karter and part of the Sauber karting team in 2021 through sponsor Orlen, when he also won the FIA Karting Academy Trophy. The following year, driving for Ricky Flynn Motorsport on its Lando Norris OK Junior kart, he won the Champions of the Future Winter Series, came second in the WSK Euro Series and placed fourth in the World Championship.

After one year racing senior OK karts with RFM, he stepped up to cars with MP Motorsport for 2024, making his debut in the Formula Winter Series where he finished third overall. He would repeat that position in Spanish Formula 4, behind team-mates Mattia Colnaghi and Keanu Al Azhari, after a campaign that included three consecutive wins across the Paul Ricard and Motorland Aragon rounds in July.

“I’m thrilled to move on to my next challenge with MP Motorsport,” said Gladysz. “I’m looking back on a strong first year in which I achieved what I aimed for, and I feel I’m ready to take a step up the single-seater ladder.

“I have really grown into the team, who have also been very strong in Eurocup-3 this season, so it’s a no-brainer to stay with them as we go into the winter break preparing for the new season.”

Gladysz will make his debut in Formula Regional machinery in the Spanish Winter Championship that will take place over three rounds through February and March.

“Maciej has been nothing short of a revelation in his rookie year in car racing and fully deserves his immediate promotion to Eurocup-3,” said Sander Dorsman, MP Motorsport team principal.

“Taking three wins in his first season and a very competitive third in the championship was all we could have asked for, so we would like to keep Maciej in the MP family and together make the step up to the next level. MP Motorsport is all about accelerating talent – and that’s exactly what we are doing here.”
