Dion Gowda will step up to the FIA Formula 3 Championship next season with Lando Norris’s new LN4 Fusion team.

The 18-year-old Indian moves into the Formula 1 support paddock after two years in Formula 4 and two in Formula Regional.

As a single-seater rookie he came a race-winning fourth in British F4 and was 25th in UAE4 with Carlin, then he joined Prema for a triple programme in 2024. That began in UAE4 once more, where he was 11th in the standings, and two podiums put him in the same spot in Italian F4’s points table while he came 14th in E4.

Since then he has been part of Van Amersfoort Racing’s FRegional European Championship line-up, coming 12th and 20th in his two campaigns. Two fifth place finishes were the peaks as a rookie, and a fourth place was his best result this year. Gowda also contested two GB3 rounds in 2025.

“I’m really excited to be joining LN4 Fusion for the FIA F3 Championship next year,” said Gowda. “Racing in FIA F3 is a dream come true and I’m really grateful for the opportunity. There are amazing people in this team, and I can’t wait to get started!”

LN4 Fusion’s chief executive officer Dan Richards added: “We are delighted to welcome Dion to LN4 Fusion, and we are very happy to be working with him. He showed promising speed in Formula Regional this season, regularly running in the top 10. We believe there is plenty of room for him to keep growing as a competitor, and on top of that he is a great person to work with. Everyone in the team is looking forward to starting this new journey together.”

Gowda will be team-mate to Gabriel Gomez and James Egozi.
