Virtuosi UK debutant Sam Dejonghe topped the running on the second and final day of the Auto GP series’ pre-season test at Circuit Ricardo Tormo.

Dejonghe posted his benchmark amidst a run of fast laps in the closing 20 minutes of the morning session.

The Virtuosi racer took over at the top from previous session leader, Super Nova’s Markus Pommer, who settled for second.

Day one pacesetter Tamas Pal Kiss was third before the mid-day break, with Italian drivers Andrea Roda and Kevin Giovesi completing the top five.

Hungarian racer Kiss was quickest in the afternoon, with Pommer and Dejonghe completing an unchanged top three. Giovesi and Roda switched places in fourth and fifth.

The 2014 Auto GP season will kick off at Marrakech on April 12-13.
