UK Formula Ford championship leader Daniel Cammish has dominated qualifying proceedings at Rockingham, beating his nearest rival Jayde Kruger by more than half a second.

The Briton needed just two timed efforts to top the timesheets and, after he posted his benchmark effort, his pole was never under threat.

With Kruger second, his teammate Juan Angel Rosso took third. The JTR pairing of Sam Brabham and Camren Kaminsky completed the top five.

In the absence of Nico Maranzana, Cammish’s newfound chief rival in the standings Harrison Scott took sixth, ahead of Andrew Richardson, while James Abbott, Chang Wing Chung and Jack Dex completed the top ten.

If Scott doesn’t outscore Cammish by at least 15 points over the three Rockingham races, the latter will be crowned champion.
