Brit Emil Bernstorff edged teammates Marvin Kirchhofer and Artem Markelov to top the time sheets in this morning’s practice for the ATS Formel 3 Cup at Spa-Francorchamps.
Bernstorff, who had a disappointing weekend at Oschersleben and is still chasing his first win of the season, finished up 0.196 seconds clear of his teammates.
Championship leader Kirchhofer was close to the Brit, but had to settle for second in the standings just ahead of a third Lotus car in Markelov, who was 0.335 seconds behind the German.
Oschersleben race two winner John Bryant-Meisner claimed fourth just ahead of Performance Racing teammates Thomas Jager and Yannick Mettler.
Rounding out the top ten was American Gustavo Menezes, ahead of Matteo Cairoli, Nabil Jeffri and Tomasz Krzeminski.
Hubertus-Carlos Vier topped the time sheets in the Trophy class ahead of GU-Racing teammates Freddy Killensberger and Sebastian Balthasar.
