French squad Tech 1 Racing has confirmed its 2013 Formula Renault 2.0 lineup.
In the Eurocup FR2.0 category, the third and final car fielded by the team will be operated by Egor Orudzhev, a 17-year-old youngster from Russia, who will join the previously confirmed Pierre Gasly and Matthieu Vaxiviere in the lineup.
Just like Gasly and Vaxiviere, Orudzhev is a French F4 graduate, finishing tenth last year in his debut season with two podiums and two pole positions. He also made his debut in FR2.0 in select races, showing impressive pace but failing to finish in the points on any of the four occasions.
The trio is also set to do a campaign in Formula Renault 2.0 Alps alongside two drivers, who will exclusively contest that series in 2013 – Ivan Taranov and Luke Chudleigh. The 18-year-old Taranov made his debut in car racing in 2011, racing in Formula Renault BARC and finishing 14th in the standings. He continued in that series last year, taking an overall tenth. Canadian karting graduate Chudleigh, meanwhile, will make his debut in car racing this season.
