Dutch driver Nigel Melker became the champion of the inaugural Formula Acceleration 1 season after winning the final race at Assen.
Melker overtook poleman Dani Clos early on in the race and maintained his lead throughout the opening stint of the race.
He built up a solid lead early on and was not troubled for the win for the remainder of the race, eventually finishing a whole 38 seconds clear of the Spaniard.
Sergio Campana picked up his second podium finish of the weekend in third, four seconds ahead of debutant Craig Dolby.
Nathanael Berthon took fifth ahead of Richard Gonda and Kevin Kleveros, while Marco Barba narrowly led Sebastian Balthasar in eighth. Bas Schouten rounded out the top ten a lap down.
