FMS Racing’s Kevin Giovesi topped the practice session of the 2014 Auto GP season’s penultimate round at the Nurburgring.
The Caterham junior,?who sits fourth in the standings, narrowly beat out championship leader Kimiya Sato in wet track conditions, while other frontrunners Tamas Pal Kiss and Markus Pommer finished third and fourth respectively.
Outside of the top four, all the remaining drivers were more then a second and a half behind the leader. As such, Super Nova’s Michela Cerruti was best of the rest, a second down on her teammate Pommer.
Japanese Yoshitaka Kuroda took sixth with gentleman drivers Giuseppe Cipriani and Michele La Rosa securing seventh and eighth.
The order was completed by Virtuosi’s Andrea Roda, Super Nova’s Francesco Dracone and Euronova’s Salvatore Deplano.
