Maxim Rehm will step up to GB3 full-time with Rodin Motorsport in 2026 after a starring cameo in the championship this year.
The 18-year-old German joined Hillspeed for the 2025 season finale at Monza, and he finished sixth in his debut race then won the reversed-grid final race.
His main focus during 2025 was a double Formula 4 programme with US Racing, which did not fully build on the potential he had shown with the team the year before. In 2024 he came 21st in the Formula Winter Series, 13th in Italian F4 with one podium and sixth in E4 with a victory and a pole.
Rehm’s sophomore FWinter Series campaign started with disqualification from all races in round one, then a victory, two other podiums and a pole in the later two rounds put him fifth in the standings. In Italian F4 he failed to make the podium, and ended his campaign two rounds early which left him 19th in the points table.
“I am really excited to be doing the 2026 GB3 championship with Rodin. It is a great team with a great atmosphere and I cant wait to contribute to the team’s success,” said Rehm.
Also joining the GB3 grid in 2026 is Dante Vinci, who will race for Hillspeed. The 17-year-old Australian debuted in single-seaters with an Italian F4 cameo last year, then embarked on a triple programme with Van Amersfoort Racing in 2025. He came 14th in FWinter Series with one top-five finish, 21st in Italian F4 and 11th in E4.
“[GB3] winter testing has been super strong, getting to know several new tracks, and I’m ready for this championship to be my next opportunity to fight,” said Vinci. “I’m looking forward to a successful, and fun, season and I’m beyond grateful to share that with Hillspeed.”
Hillspeed team principal Richard Ollerenshaw added: “It’s especially pleasing to complete the deal [with Vinci] this side of Christmas. Our winter testing programme with him has been incredibly successful, we’ve been impressed with the way Dante has adapted to the current GB3 car and have high hopes for his maiden campaign in GB3.”
