Mari Boya will remain at Campos Racing for his third season in FIA Formula 3, having come 15th in the championship this year.
The 20-year-old Spaniard began his single-seater career with MP Motorsport in 2020, coming second in Spanish Formula 4.
He then stepped up to Formula Regional, doing two seasons in the European championship and two in the Middle East championship. In Europe he only claimed two podiums, and was 10th in the 2022 standings, while in the United Arab Emirates he won two races and was fifth in the standings in both campaigns.
Last year Boya drove for MP in the FRegional-based Eurocup-3 series, where he was title runner-up, and moved up to the FIA F3 Championship with the team. One podium and four other points finishes put him 17th in the standings, and switching to Campos for 2024 resulted in a maiden win on home soil at Barcelona.
“I am excited to face my second season with Campos Racing. After a first year of learning and adaptation, I feel more than ready and eager to contribute to the fullest,” said Boya.
“We have worked hard as a group and I am confident that together we will achieve our goals by always giving our best in every opportunity that comes our way.”
Campos team principal Adrian Campos Jr added: “We are thrilled to have a driver like Mari in our team for another season. Next year will be a tough challenge for everyone, considering the introduction of the new [Dallara] F3 2025 car. Therefore, it will be crucial to have talented and experienced drivers who can help understand and develop the car to achieve results as quickly as possible. We are confident it will be a great season together and we will work towards many more victories with the new racing car.”
