John Bennett will move teams to Carlin next year for his second season racing in GB3.
The 19-year-old had a brief karting career before moving into car racing in the Ginetta GT5 Challenge. He came seventh in his rookie season in 2010, then was championship runner-up last year with five race wins.
For 2022 he moved across into single-seater racing and straight into GB3 with Elite Motorsport, the team that had run him in Ginettas, and he came eighth in the standings with one podium finish. He has since tested with Carlin, and is the team’s first signing for 2023.

In the meantime, we will be undergoing a strong winter testing programme to ensure that we are in the best possible position to hit the ground running at round one.”
