Vivek Kanthan has decided to stay with Campos Racing for a second season in Spanish Formula 4.

The 16-year-old American joined the Spanish team in October 2024, and made his single-seater debut with them this year. He started off in the Spanish F4 Winter Championship, and came fifth in the standings with four podiums from nine races.

In the main championship he was ninth in the points table, making the podium in the season finale after starting the campaign with two top-five finishes. A NACAM F4 cameo with the Alessandros Racing team which Campos has an alliance with resulted in a win and a third place.

“I am excited to continue with Campos Racing for the 2026 F4 Spain season,” said Kanthan. “My rookie season with the team has been very promising, and now I want to build on all the experience gained to achieve even stronger results next year!”

Campos’s team principal Adrian Campos Jr added: “We are pleased to continue working with Vivek for another season. In his first year in single-seaters he has shown tremendous potential and the ability to keep improving, as demonstrated by his first overall podium at the end of the year. With a full season of experience under his belt and the natural talent he possesses, I am convinced he will be one of the standout contenders in 2026.”

While Campos has secured the licenses to operate as ‘two’ teams in Spanish F4 next year, with three of its six cars entered with ‘Griffin Core’ brandings, Rodin Motorsport and Sainteloc Racing have lost their places on the grid for 2026.

Rodin won a race this year with Nathan Tye, while Sainteloc did the winter championship but did not even got through the entirety of the main championship’s season-opening round before withdrawing and not being seen again.

Rodin and its predecessor Carlin had been in the paddock since 2023, while Sainteloc joined Spanish F4 in the second half of the 2022 season as it transitioned from sportscar racing and rallying to the junior single-seater scene.
