US Racing has announced Kabir Anurag, Maxim Rehm and Luka Sammalisto in its line-up of Formula 4 drivers for 2025.

The trio of category sophomores will race in Italian F4, Anurag and Rehm will also do the E4 (formerly known as Euro 4) and Formula Winter Series seasons in full during their second year with US Racing and team newcomer Sammalisto will join them in the latter series for select rounds.

Alpine junior Anurag actually began his single-seater career with three Italian F4 outings in 2023, and the 16-year-old Singaporean came 14th in FWinter Series, 18th in E4 and 20th in Italian F4 in 2024. Two fifth places were his best results.

This month he contested the F4-spec Formula Trophy series in the United Arab Emirates with Xcel Motorsport and immediately tasted success, with two wins putting him third in the points table.

“I’m very pleased to announce that I will be doing my second F4 season with US Racing. I learned a lot in my rookie season and am now on a different point becoming a professional race driver than I was one year ago,” said Anurag. “I want to build on that in 2025 and aim for strong and successful races.”

Rehm started slowly but improved his results over the course of this year. He was 21st in Spain’s FWinter Series, 13th in Italian F4 with one podium and sixth in E4 thanks to a final round that included a pole position and a victory.

“My rookie season in formula racing was a great experience, I had many ups and also downs, my greatest highlight was the win in Monza,” the 17-year-old German reflected. “I was able to learn a lot and grow as a race driver I know my strengths and weaknesses and want to implement all the work we’ve put in my development. My winter preparation in the car was decent.”

US Racing co-founder and ex-Formula 1 star Ralf Schumacher called Rehm “a very ambitious and focused” driver who he anticipates will be racing at the front in 2025, and believes Sammalisto has “a strong potential” to be realised.

Sammalisto moves across from R-ace GP, which he won a seat with in a shootout. He debuted in F4 UAE, where he came 20th in the standings with a best finish of sixth, then raced part-time in both Italian F4 and E4. The 17-year-old was 18th in the former and 20th in the latter.

“I love working with the team,” said the Finn. “We had some good and intense winter preparation program for this upcoming 2025 season. My target is to run on the top and have strong race performances.”
