Kacper Sztuka will drop down to the Formula Regional-based Eurocup-3 this year after a tricky rookie FIA Formula 3 Championship campaign in 2024.

The 19-year-old Pole became a Red Bull junior after winning the 2023 Formula Winter Series and Italian Formula 4 titles, and signed with MP Motorsport for the step up to F3. But it did not go to plan, with Sztuka dropped by Red Bull in June of last year having only scored six points in the first eight races of the season.

There were no further points finishes, and Sztuka ended the year 27th in the standings and with an uncertain racing future.

His 2025 plans have now been revealed as he, Jesse Carrasquedo Jr and Francisco Macedo are added to Campos Racing’s Eurocup-3 line-up.

“I am excited to announce my 2025 racing programme with Campos in the Eurocup-3 series,” said Sztuka. “I will do my best to deliver strong results for such a successful team during each round. We aim to fight for top positions, so I am looking forward to racing together very soon.”

Macedo is entering only his second year of single-seater racing. The 16-year-old Portuguese began 2024 with a points-free FWinter Series campaign, then came 21st in Spanish F4 with a best finish of seventh. He also made an Italian F4 cameo, and was 10th in the Motorsport Games’ F4 event.

Palou Motorsport, launched by three-time IndyCar champion Alex Palou, run by his father Ramon and partnered with top IndyCar team Chip Ganassi Racing through its driver development programme, now has a five-strong Eurocup-3 line-up with the addition of James Egozi.

Like Sztuka, the 17-year-old became a RBJT member after an impressive 2023 in which he won the WSK Super Master Series for OK karts then stepped up to cars and came 14th in Italian F4 and won in a F4 Central European Zone cameo.

The American drove for Campos in 2024, taking a win and pole from one of his two FWinter Series outings then coming sixth in Spanish F4 with a single pole and three podiums. That was not enough for him to retain his RBJT place for 2025.
