Struan Moore wins BRDC F4 race two at Snetterton

Struan Moore became the sixth winner in eight BRDC Formula 4 races with victory from pole position in a race two at Snetterton that was red-flagged after a start collision.

Hillspeed driver Moore was promoted to the reverse grid pole following the exclusion of Pietro Fittipaldi from Saturday’s first race, and kept the lead at the original start in front of an incident involving Matt Bell, Sennan Fielding and?Matthew Graham.

The race was restarted with drivers in their grid positions, minus those involved in the incident. Moore again kept the lead ahead of Falco Wauer and Raoul Hyman.

Hyman got up into second past Wauer on lap four, finishing 2.3 seconds behind Moore at the flag. Seb Morris, Charlie Robertson and Jake Hughes were separated by just half a second at the finish in fourth, fifth and sixth. Race one winner James Fletcher?finished seventh, with Ross Gunn, Gustavo Lima and Jack Barlow completing the top ten.

Points leader Robertson will start from pole in race three courtesy of the fastest lap from the two races so far.
