Sebastian Balthasar joins GU-Racing for 2013

16-year-old German Sebastian Balthasar will contest the Trophy Class of the 2013 ATS Formel 3 Cup with GU-Racing.

Balthasar, who began his racing career in karts, finishing third in the Rotax Max Challenger Germany Junior Cup in 2009, makes the step up to the ATS Formel Cup after competing in the ADAC Formel Masters in 2012, finishing thirteenth overall.

The youngster is fully aware of the big jump that he is making, but believes he can achieved good results over time, ?It is a big step in my career as a race driver. I have set myself the goal to give my best and to learn as much as possible.?

Balthasar joins the already announced Freddy Killensberger at GU-Racing for the 2013 championship.
