Sainteloc Racing has revealed its line-up for the 2024 Eurocup-3 season, while Spanish Formula 4 runner-up Christian Ho has announced he will step up to the series with Campos Racing.
Ho came 13th in Spanish F4 with MP Motorsport as a single-seater rookie last year, then switched to Campos for his second season. The Singaporean claimed five wins, eight other podium finishes and seven poles to come second in the standings.
By staying with the Spanish team as he steps up to the Formula Regional-based Eurocup-3, Ho hopes to continue his front-running form.
“After a successful F4 season with Campos Racing, I am very excited to continue our partnership into Eurocup-3,” he said “Campos has helped me grow immensely as a driver and it is only logical to move to the next step together. I am sure we as a team will be very competitive and be a strong contender for the championship in Europcup-3.”
Campos’s team principal Adrian Campos said “we are excited to continue working with Christian, who has shown in 2023 his talent”, and called him “a fast, solid driver who is stepping up to Eurocup-3 in the right moment”.
Sainteloc has announced Alexander Abkhazava, Dario Cabanelas, Jorge Campos as its Eurocup-3 drivers for 2024.
Georgian-Russian racer Abkhazava – believed to be related to Shota Abkhazava who ran the ArtLine Engineering Formula 3 team, is a Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe class champion and has owned circuits in Georgia and Russia – graduated from karting at the start of this year and came 28th in F4 United Arab Emirates with R-ace GP. He then joined Drivex School in Spanish F4 and came 24th in the standings.
Cabanelas was part of Sainteloc’s entry into Eurocup-3 halfway though this season as a one-car operation, and he scored five points to come 18th in the standings. Prior to that he raced in French F4 for two years, taking two podiums in that time.
Jorge Campos was supposed to race for the team he shares a name with in Eurocup-3 this year, but did not appear on track until round four of the season and did so with Palou Motorsport instead. His best results were four 14th places.
