Campos Racing has signed another single-seater rookie for Spanish Formula 4, adding Jan Przyrowski to its 2024 line-up.

The 15-year-old Pole came 15th in the CIK-FIA European championship for OK Junior karts in 2021 as a rookie at the junior karting level, and ended that year by finishing third in the South Garda Winter Cup.

He began 2022 by coming fifth in the Champions of the Future Winter Series, then won the WSK Euro Series by a huge margin, became European championship runner-up and finished third in the World championship.

Last year he stepped up to OK karts and was seventh in CotF, 10th in the World championship, 13th in the European championship and 15th in the WSK Super Master Series. Kart manufacturer Tony Kart also nominated him to take part in a Ferrari Driver Academy scouting camp.

“I am very happy to join Campos. My goal for this year is to win the Spanish F4 championship,” said Przyrowski. “It won’t be easy, there are many very good rivals with whom I have competed before and I realise that I have a difficult year ahead of me. However, I am in the best place to achieve this.”

He will be team-mate to Red Bull junior Enzo Tarnvanichkul, who also steps up from karting and has set himself the aim of winning the Spanish F4 title at his first attempt, and Andres Cardenas.

“[Jan] is a driver with an extensive pedigree in karting and we will provide him with everything necessary for his transition to single-seaters to be as smooth and effective as possible,” Campos’s team principal Adrian Campos Jr said.

“Our team has always been characterised by nurturing these young talents, helping them grow little by little so they can show their full potential. In this sense, I believe that Jan is another driver destined for great things in racing. He has already shown us his fantastic skills during testing, and now it’s about gaining experience in the category to translate it into results.”
