Kai Daryanani will switch to Fortec Motorsports for his second season in British Formula 4.

The Indian racer drove for Virtuosi Racing in the championship last year, and came 24th in the standings with eight points.

“I am delighted to be joining Fortec Motorsports and I hugely appreciate the trust and belief the team has placed in me going into my second year of British F4, so I can’t wait to get the year under way,” said Daryanani.

“I will be working as hard as I can to make the necessary steps to improve my driving and bring home some good results.”

Alongside British F4, Daryanani also raced in several other series across the globe in 2023 as he embarked on a busy rookie year in single-seaters.

In F4 United Arab Emirates he was part of Pinnacle VAR’s line-up and came 36th in the standings, in GB4 he did two rounds with Evans GP and took a surprise win to put himself 18th in the points table, while three appearances in Spanish F4 with Cram Motorsport proved less productive as he failed to score.

He also did one Euro 4 round with the team, coming away with a best finish of 14th, then he reunited with Pinnacle Motorsport for F4 South East Asia and followed up a 10th place in the non-championship round in Macau with a podium and three other points finishes in the two rounds at Sepang to come 10th in the standings.

The partnership with Pinnacle has continued into the 2024 F4 UAE season, and he sits 17th in the standings after the first two rounds.
