In this week’s Formula Scout podcast, the team discuss an eventful Monza weekend which brought back Formula 2 reliability concerns, a Schumacher on top of the podium and an FIA Formula 3 title twist

In addition, F2 points leader Callum Ilott produced an immense recovery drive which culminated in an inherited sprint race win, and rookie Christian Lundgaard bounced back after a tricky run with a fine double podium.

The FIA Formula 3 championship finale at Mugello – where Prema pair Oscar Piastri and Logan Sargeant will start down the order after grid penalties – is also previewed, while the preceding action at Monza is analysed. This includes the qualifying mess where everyone was a closer, potential solutions to avoids repeats of that, and how Prema’s trio of drivers got into very different races are they had secured the teams title.

A scary accident for Braden Eves at Indianapolis overshadowed strong weekends for Sting Ray Robb and Eduardo Barrichello in Indy Pro 2000 and USF2000 respectively, and the Formula Renault Eurocup and Formula Regional Japan championships were also back in action.
