Comtec Racing will employ Daniil Move and Lucas Foresti in the 2013 Formula Renault 3.5 season.
The 20-year-old Brazilian Foresti began his full-time career in junior single-seaters in 2009, finishing third in the local Formula Three Sudamericana series. 2010 was a busy year for Foresti, as he took part in British F3, GP3 and the Toyota Racing Series and F3 Sudamericana, scoring podiums in each of the series and taking wins in the latter two. 2011 saw Foresti finish seventh in a focused British F3 campaign, where he amassed three wins and four other podium finishes.
In 2012, Foresti moved up to FR3.5, joining Arthur Pic at DAMS, yet he only managed to score twice during the whole season, finishing 23rd in the standings.
Meanwhile, Move, 27, will be entering his sixth full-time season in the category, having raced for P1, Junior Lotus, KTR and Interwetten before. Over the previous five years, Move scored a total of five podiums, with a personal best finish of 10th in the standings, in 2009 and 2011.
Comtec Racing finished in seventh in the 2012 running of Formula Renault 3.5. The team scored 127 points in total, with race-winner Nick Yelloly finishing fifth in the standings, while Vittorio Ghirelli finished 24th.
Only three spaces remain on the entry list for the 2013 FR3.5 season – the seat alongside Sergey Sirotkin at ISR and two places at the renamed Zeta Corse (formerly BVM Target). Pre-season collective testing begins this Friday and Saturday at Motorland Aragon.
