Argenti with Prema has confirmed Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 junior Yuanpu Cui as its second GB3 signing for 2025.
Cui raced for Argenti in British Formula 4 this year and came ninth in the standings, taking one victory and a second place, and was runner-up in the rookie cup.
The 16-year-old also contested four out five F4 United Arab Emirates rounds for Xcel Motorsport in 2024, with a ninth place his best result, and took two victories during a one-round Chinese F4 cameo on the Shanghai Grand Prix circuit.
Cui has been with Mercedes for the past three and a half years, and represented factory team Kart Republic as well as Prema during his time in karting.
“I’m very excited to be racing in the GB3 Championship with Argenti, “said Cui. “I’m very pleased that the team and Mercedes-AMG F1 have given me this opportunity. I do believe it will be a challenge, but I’m determined and will maximise my performance, and hopefully the results will come together”.
