Lucas Fluxa will make the step up to GB3 in 2025 with Argenti with Prema.
The 16-year-old began his career in karting, winning the Spanish championship for X30 Junior karts in 2018 and WSK Final Cup for OK Junior karts in 2021.
Fluxa made his single-seater debut last year in Formula Winter Series with MP Motorsport, taking a best result of fourth and coming 13th in the standings. He remained with the team in Spanish F4 and took two wins on his debut weekend at Jarama before finishing the campaign eighth in the points.
He is the younger brother of former Prema Formula Regional racer Lorenzo Fluxa, and their younger sister Luna Fluxa has competed with both Prema and Argenti in karting.
“I am very happy to announce I am joining Argenti with Prema to race GB3 in 2025,” said Fluxa. “Following a strong season learning in single-seaters competing in F4 Spain, I am really looking forward to racing the new car for Argenti with Prema next year and can’t wait to get started.”
Fluxa will race alongside British F4 graduates Reza Seewooruthun and Yuanpu Cui at Argenti, which is expanding into GB3 this year.
“We are very happy to welcome Lucas to the team for the GB3 Championship.” said Argenti’s team principal Michael Meadows “It’s a good step for F4 drivers, and the new car makes it an exciting prospect.
“Lucas had a very strong debut season in single-seaters in Spanish F4, so he is ready for this new challenge. He will have the full support of the team and we look forward to achieving great results together.”
