Lorenzo Paggi enters F3 Open with Corbetta Competizioni

Italian Lorenzo Paggi has joined the F3 Open with the Corbetta Competizioni team after participating in the Winter Series.

Although he finished 17th at Paul Ricard and retired in Barcelona, he did set the fastest lap in the Copa class in that second race.

In 2012, the 16-year-old youngster competed in Italian Formula Renault 2000, as a debut year in single-seaters. He ended up as the third best rookie of the year and sixth overall.

Paggi, who is supported by the Ferrari Driver Academy, is the the 26th addition to the field, however, he is the first driver confirmed by Corbetta, who won the outright drivers’ title in 2011 with Alex Fontana.
