Logan Hannah has become the first driver to sign up for the new-for-2022 GB4 championship, racing for the Graham Brunton Racing team she drove for in Formula Ford.

The 20-year-old has been with GBR since 2018, racing in FF1600 in England and Scotland after debuting in single-seaters in Formula 4 United Arab Emirates at the end of 2017. She also raced in F4 UAE in 2019 for slicks-and-wings experience.

During her time in FF1600 she has won the David Leslie Trophy at Knockhill, come fourth in the Scottish FFord championship and 18th in the FFord Festival. Last year she picked up the support of the touring car team-owning Laser Tools.

“I’m so looking forward to this coming season! Having competed in the UK national and Scottish FF1600 championships for three seasons, I feel that I am ready to move up to the more sophisticated formula,” said Hannah.

“GB4 is a tremendously exciting new championship that will progress aspiring drivers forwards in single-seater racing and with Laser Tools Racing’s support, I’m very proud to be involved at this early stage.

“So with Laser Tools Racing behind me, I plan to continue my successful relationship with Knockhill-based Graham Brunton Racing who will prepare and run the race car. Graham and his son Craig have looked after me for a number of years now and they have at all times been totally supportive — and they wield a mean spanner!”

GBR plans to field two cars in GB4 for its return to slicks-and-wings racing with the first-generation Tatuus Formula 4 car.
