Campos Racing has signed Portuguese karter Noah Monteiro to race in Spanish Formula 4 next year.
The 14-year-old, whose father is former Formula 1 driver Tiago Monteiro, will compete in both the main and winter series and is the team’s first confirmed F4 driver for 2025.
Monteiro is currently a rookie in senior karting, and has come eighth in the CIK-FIA European championship, 18th in the World championship and 14th in the Champions of the Future series for OK karts. He made his category debut in the 2023 WSK Final Cup, coming 31st.
For three years he raced in junior karting, at first on X30 Junior machinery. He came eighth and 12th in his two IAME Euro Series campaigns, 13th in IAME’s Winter Cup, 15th in its Warrior Final and 16th in the I-Games. Early last year he switched to OK Junior karts, with 24th in the World championship following up 27th in the European championship and 28th in CotF.
“Joining F4 with the Campos Racing team is an incredible opportunity and a very important step in my career,” said Monteiro.
“Being part of a team with such a history and success in motorsport represents the realisation of a dream that I have pursued with a lot of effort and dedication. Campos has a well-deserved reputation for nurturing great talents, and having the opportunity to learn and compete at the highest level with them is a privilege. I am excited to show my potential and grow both as a driver and as a person in this new stage.”
Campos’s team principal Adrian Campos Jr added: “We are very happy to have Noah in our team for the 2025 season. He is a driver with great potential and has a bright future ahead.”
