JHR Developments has announced Noah Lisle and Kai Daryanani as its first two signings for the 2025 GB3 season.
Lisle is returning to JHR after spending 2022 with the team in British Formula 4, where he came 14th in the standings. A switch to Rodin Carlin for the following season brought his first three single-seater wins and an improvement to 10th in the points despite missing one round.
The 17-year-old Australian also contested Spanish F4 part-time during these two years, taking a best race result of fifth and coming 11th in his sophomore campaign, as well as F4 United Arab Emirates in 2023 where he was 19th in the points with one podium.
Last year Lisle stepped up to the Formula Regional-based Eurocup-3 where he came 12th in the standings with Campos Racing, his only podium being in the non-championship round at Motorland Aragon. He will remain on the same step of the single-seater ladder in 2025 by moving to GB3.
“I’m very happy to be coming back to race with JHR Developments and excited to return to racing in Britain,” said Lisle. “The new car looks fantastic – it’s the most modern machine at this level, and when there’s a shiny new car on the grid, you want to be the one driving it. I can’t wait to really push and see what we can achieve this season.
“It was a big step when I first joined JHR, moving from Australia, but I’ve now proven myself as a driver and shown my versatility. I haven’t yet managed to put everything together to win a championship, but I have the experience, and I’m ready to maximise every opportunity with the team this year.”
Daryanani is switching to GB3 from FRegional after coming 22nd in this year’s Middle East championship with Evans GP.
His FRegional debut came at last year’s Macau Grand Prix, where he was a non-finisher in the main race. The 19-year-old spent the previous two seasons competing in eight different F4 championships, including in Britain, Italy and Spain, and he took race wins in GB4, Australian F4 and during his 2024 title-winning Formula Trophy UAE campaign.
“I am really excited to make my debut in GB3 with JHR,” said Daryanani. “I felt immediately comfortable with the team during testing at the end of last year, and I feel like this is the best place for me to continue my learning and development. I am very much looking forward to the first race at Silverstone and will make the most of the opportunity given to me. A big thanks to everyone for making this happen.”
Both drivers took part in this week’s pre-season testing at Donington Park, and they were joined at JHR on day two by GB3 race-winner James Hedley. The team is expected to announce its third driver soon.
