Juncos Racing’s Indy Pro 2000 line-up has grown to three cars with the signing of Nate Aranda.
The American teenager is a winner in the entry-level Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series, and made a single start in USF2000 last year. He will now embark on a full campaign in the next tier up on the Road to Indy ladder with a title-winning team.
?Love is my mantra and I love being a race car driver,? said Aranda. ?Even up to the last minute while in contract negations with Juncos Racing, their passion for racing, winning and love for the sport was very evident and that?s the moment when I knew I had found the right team.
?I am excited to be part of a winning team with Juncos Racing and looking forward to a successful race season with my teammates and all my fellow Road to Indy drivers.”
Aranda joins series veteran Sting Ray Robb and ex-FIA European Formula 3 racer Artem Petrov at the team.
?We are very happy to announce Nate Aranda has joined our talented Indy Pro 2000 line-up,? team owner Ricardo Juncos said.
?Nate has developed a great chemistry with our team since we began testing with him in late February. He has an incredible drive and passion on and off track, so I am confident he will be successful this season.”
Juncos is still yet to fill any of its vacant seats in Indy Lights, but has just started its own Esports team. It will debut in IndyCar’s official series, a substitute for real racing during the global COVID-19 novel coronavirus pandemic, this weekend with its 2017 Indy Lights champion and former IndyCar driver Kyle Kaiser.
