Jenzer Motorsports have announced their three-car lineup for the 2013 running of the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, with Kevin Jorg, Marcos Siebert and Levin Amweg signed on to race for the team.
For Jorg, 17, 2013 will be his first full-time season in FR2.0. The Swiss driver started his single-seater career in 2011, taking part in the Formula BMW Talent Cup with appearances in select rounds of Formula Abarth and Formula Renault 2.0 Alps. In 2012, he joined Jenzer in Formula Abarth and finished sixth in both the European series and the Italian series standings, with six podium finishes and one pole position over the year. In 2013, alongside the Eurocup campaign, Jorg is also poised to take part in a full-time assault on the Alps series.
His compatriot, 18-year old Amweg, also made his debut in single-seaters in 2011, contesting the Formula Lista Junior series, where he finished fourth win one win, running for Jo Zeller Racing. He continued in the series in 2012 and took the title in a dominant fashion, with seven wins across 12 races.
Finally, Argentinian 17-year-old Siebert will be making a full-time switch to single-seaters, after mostly racing in karts for the previous years.
The three drivers have all taken part in the pre-season FR2.0 tests, with Jorg finishing the morning session of the first day at Aragon in tenth place.
