Chris Dittmann Racing has announced that Isaac Barashi will race for the team in this weekend’s GB3 round at the Hungaroring.

Barashi is racing full-time in Eurocup-3 this season with Global Racing Service and sits 16th in the standings after round three, with an eighth place his best finish. Earlier in 2024 he contested three Formula Regional Middle East rounds with MP Motorsport.

He also raced for GRS in four Spanish Formula 4 rounds last year, but his main focus in 2023 was British F4, where he came 20th in the standings with Argenti Motorsport and took two podiums in reversed-grid races.

“I’m super grateful and exited for the opportunity to be racing with CDR at Hungary,” said Barashi. “It won’t be easy coming into the GB3 championship halfway through the season but I’m ready for the challenge. The team have been really helpful in getting me up to speed with the car in the limited time we have, and I can’t wait to get racing this weekend.”

Barashi will join the team’s regular drivers Flynn Jackes and Seb Murray for GB3’s second overseas round of the season. It is the first time the championship has headed to Hungary.

“It’s great to be welcoming Isaac to the team for this weekend’s GB3 championship races in Hungary,” said CDR’s team principal Chris Dittmann. “It’s going to be a steep learning curve for him, but he and the team have been working hard to prepare as best as possible, so we can hit the ground running when we get out on track.”
