Simone Iaquinta took his second victory of the Formula Abarth 2013 season in race one at Adria, taking advantage of Alessio Rovera‘s early spin to take the lead and cross the checkered flag first.

Rovera got away decently from the first spot on the grid, but soon found himself spearing off-track. Having miraculously avoided a crash, he recovered in fifth and went on to claw his way back to second. Federico Pezzolla finished in third, having put up a good fight before letting Rovera through, while Gabriele Rugin and Lukas Moraes rounded out the top five.

Luis Michael Dorrbecker narrowly missed out on fifth, finishing a second behind Moraes. Sergey Trofimov was seventh, ahead of Giada De Zen, Dzhon Simonyan and Marco Tolama.
