Championship leader Jake Hughes topped BRDC F4 qualifying for the third time this season, further increasing his title chances.
The Lanan Racing driver narrowly bested James Fletcher in a close battle by only 0.025s. The two of them changed positions continuously during the session, however, it was Hughes who emerged who on top in the end. Despite the impressive performance from Fletcher, he won’t have much to show for it in the way of results as he was relegated to the back of the grid due to a technical infringement.
Jake Dalton, who switched to Lanan Racing after the last round at Silverstone, took second, narrowly beating Struan Moore.
Charlie Robertson took fourth ahead of Jack Barlow, Matt Bell, Seb Morris and Matthew Graham, with all of the aforementioned drivers trying to keep themselves in the title contention. The top ten was rounded out by Telmex-supported Diego Menchaca and newcomer Matt Mason.
